Seven charming days spent in eco & art village in the Andalusian mountains next to the authentic and historic white town of Velez Rubio is a journey that will revolutionize your view of holidays. Not only is it a moment of break from everyday life, but it also offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the harmony of nature and fiesta, away from the crowds of tourists. REC.ON Spain cordially invites you to a week of relaxation and discovery, during which you can relax and explore the beauty of authentic Andalusia. Accommodation is available in single rooms for couples or entire apartments for families, which gives you freedom of choice. In 150-year-old buildings, you will find spaces to relax, surrounded by a permaculture garden with organic vegetables and herbs. During your stay, you will be happy to use art installations prepared especially for guests, such as a summer kitchen, a tree house, a summer shower, sanitary facilities, areas with hammocks, meditation areas, chill-out areas, and even an eco-bottle with spring water instead of a traditional swimming pool. It all adds up to an unforgettable experience where art and nature coexist in perfect harmony. Additionally, as part of your stay, we have planned two full-day guided tours for you (Paulina or Bartek😊). The first tour will take you to the Museo Megalítico de Gorafe, where you will discover cave houses. The second trip will take you to a unique beach in the Aguilas region. (Trips when booking a minimum of 3 people in the apartment). Moreover, you will have the opportunity to visit the historic surrounding towns (12 km from the apartment), which delight with the local Andalusian atmosphere. You'll visit a Renaissance castle, immerse yourself in prehistoric cave paintings, and participate in local fiestas de verano. Breakfast with delicious coffee from an espresso machine is included in the price of your stay. Upon request, we will serve you delicious, aromatic meals based on products from our own eco-garden. In the surrounding white pueblos (towns), we will recommend tapas bars or restaurants serving Spanish cuisine.

This is an extraordinary place that delights with its authentic charm and picturesque landscape. This region is distinguished by its impressive mountain range, various natural parks, prehistoric cave paintings and beautifully preserved white towns. It is also a historical route leading to Granada, which was once a Roman and Arab route. Today, traces of this heritage are visible in the castle ruins and traditional houses that form part of the white towns. Andalusia is famous for its 300 sunny days a year! Comarca Los Velez, as this region is called, is one of the least populated places in Europe, with only 4 people per square kilometer. The terrain is mountainous, with the highest point in Sierra Maria reaching 2,050 meters above sea level, no industry and a semi-arid climate. From the LOS VELEZ Region, important places can be easily reached: Alicante Airport - approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, Malaga Airport - approximately 3 hours 30 minutes, beaches/coast - just 50 minutes, Sierra Nevada (ski) - approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, Granada – approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. We invite you for an unforgettable holiday where you will discover the charms of Andalusia's culture, history and nature! What awaits you during your trip: • Stay in an apartment - a single or double room with breakfast (possibility to order meals on site) or the entire apartment for family or friends • A proposal to visit local Andalusian towns in the LOS Velez Region (pueblos: Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco, Maria). (Best to reach by car - about 12 km from the apartment). • One-day trip to the Museo Megalítico de Gorafe. • One-day trip to a small and non-touristy beach on the Aguillas coast. • Visiting a local street market in one of the towns in the area. • Visit the municipal swimming pool in Velez Rubio (located at the foot of the mountains with a good bar) • Exploring the best local tapas bars in the Los Velez region: Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco, Maria. • Slow chill at REC.ON - hammocks, tree house • Afternoons and evenings on the project site: a sports tournament combined with local wine tasting (table tennis, Viking chess, boules/patanca, badminton, cards) or a visit to towns - during local events and festivals.
